About Marcia Smart, Ph.D. Dr. Marcia Smart is an international speaker and consultant for Leadership Development on Informal Leadership, Personal Empowerment, Women’s Leadership and Positive Change. With over twenty years of corporate experience, Marcia has worked in dynamic, fast-paced and rapidly-evolving business environments, creating, building and managing teams of top-performers in the High-Tech industry. She holds a position as Adjunct Faculty with the Doctoral Leadership Studies Program at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington, USA.  Here Dr. Smart’s curriculum focuses on Informal Leadership-an example of leadership theory and practice based on a deep, personal sense of purpose, commitment, and power and influence without formal authority.
